About Us
Generations is a non-denominational church that blends a traditional and contemporary setting for worship and life. We love the relatively small -- but active -- community of Waynoka, Oklahoma; and we don't mind the old ways. In fact, we love them. But we are also willing to adopt new approaches in order to leverage the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ.
The unique architecture of Generation's parsonage symbolizes the church's -- and the community's -- respect for the past. We are seeking to maintain the role of Waynoka's churches as a vital aspect of the town's identity -- and future. It has been said, "Neglect the churches, and you sabatoge the community."
Our half-court, beautifully-structured gym serves as the center of youth and children activities, under the view from the youth mezzanine meeting area. The gym, the attached weight room, the Fellowship Hall and the sanctuary are available for community and family use.
"Generations: A Christian Commnity of Faith" is a new name for a church that has been around since 1908. The new name reflects a regenerated desire to adapt and be fresh in our approach to reaching the community with the good news of Christ.
